Description

Buy Blue PVC Glue if wet conditions & quick set up are an issue.

If flammability, odor, water clean up, ease of use, being eco-friendly or chemical sensitivity are more important considerations, use our Original Clear PrimaGlue. To be really safe buy both.

Blue is tougher than the pipe itself. It meets or exceeds ASTM D2564 and ANSI/NSF 14 & 61 standards. It’s Gorilla tested for leakage under pressure.

Blue is a low VOC product. LEED point available for green projects.

Applications: Wet or dry plumbing, Flexible/Rigid pipe, Potable drinking water, Drain, Waste & Vent, (DWV), Sewer, Irrigation, Pool & Spa, Well casing, Electrical PVC conduit & ENT.

SPECIFICATIONS: Blue, Medium Body PVC cement for use on schedule 40 through 6” dia. pipe & schedule 80 through 4” dia. pipe. Approved for potable water, DWV, sewer gas, electrical conduit & ENT. Extremely Flammable, do not expose to flame. Flash point -4°F. Usable temperature range and storage: 40° to 110°F. May be thawed and used if frozen. Max VOC per SCAQMD 1168/316A 510g/L. Shelf life up to 3 years unopened.

*WARNING: Keep out of the reach of children! Use in a well ventilated, flame free area.

*CAUTION: Do not inhale, drink or expose to skin or eyes. May cause irritation to eyes, nose, respiratory tract and skin. May cause coughing, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, headache, dizziness and nausea. Long term repeated exposure to solvents may cause damage to the brain, nervous system, reproductive system, respiratory mucous membranes, liver and kidneys. *FIRST AID: IN CASE OF INHALATION: Transport to fresh air and keep at rest in a position that will aid in breathing. Immediately call a Poison Center or a physician. *IN CASE OF INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Immediately call a Poison Center or a physician. *IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH SKIN: Immediately flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. *IN CASE OF FIRE: Use dry, CO2 or chemical foam. *SPILLS: Remove all sources of ignition and ventilate the area. Wear appropriate protective equipment which may include respirators. If vapor levels are high (refer to SDS) to clean up spill. Use absorbents to collect spill and put it in a labeled sealed metal container.
