Gold CPVC Glue


Buy Gold CPVC Glue for FlowGuard Gold® and other CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl) pipes and fittings. Gold is tougher than the pipe itself. Gold meets or exceeds ASTM D2846 and F493 Standards. This specially made cement does not require the use of primer, where code permits. It’s Gorilla tested for leakage under pressure.

SPECIFICATIONS: Yellow, Medium Body CPVC Cement for use on FlowGuard Gold® and other schedule 40/80 CPVC pipes and fittings from Copper Tube Size (CTS) to 2” diameter, with interference fit. Approved for use in cold and hot water distribution systems up to 180º F in residential and commercial plumbing and industrial piping systems. Extremely flammable, do not expose to flame. Flash point -4º F. Usable temperature range and storage 40º to 90º F. May be thawed and used if frozen. Max VOC per SCAQMD 1168/316A 490 G/L. *CAUTION: Do not inhale, drink or expose to skin or eyes. May cause irritation to eyes, nose, respiratory tract and skin. May cause coughing, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, headache, dizziness and nausea. Long term repeated exposure to solvents may cause damage to the brain, nervous system, reproductive system, respiratory mucous membranes, liver and kidneys.

*FIRST AID: IN CASE OF INHALATION: Transport to fresh air and keep at rest in a position that will aid in breathing. Immediately call a Poison Center or a physician. *IN CASE OF INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Immediately call a Poison Center or a physician.

*IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH SKIN: Immediately flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

*IN CASE OF FIRE: Use dry, CO2 or chemical foam. *SPILLS: Remove all sources of ignition and ventilate the area. Wear appropriate protective equipment which may include respirators. If vapor levels are high (refer to SDS) to clean up spill. Use absorbents to collect spill and put it in a labeled sealed metal container. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
